2013 health Plan Rate Estimator
Use the Health Plan Rate Estimator to calculate your estimated monthly health plan rates in three simple steps.
Step 1: Choose your group. Your benefits eligibility group is one factor in calculating your individualized
health plan rates.
Step 2: Answer questions (if applicable). Depending on the group you select in Step 1, you may need to answer some simple questions, such as your date of hire, the number of hours you will work per week, or your annual salary.
Step 3: View rates. Based on your input in Step 1 and Step 2, the Health Plan Rate Estimator will automatically calculate and display your estimated monthly plan rates for each of the U-M health plans. After you have viewed your rates you can click “change” in Step 1 or in Step 2 to choose a different group or answer the questions differently to see if your rates change. Once your new appointment has been entered into the system, you may view your actual health plan rates on Wolverine Access when you log in to Self Service > Benefits to make your benefits elections.

The University in its sole discretion may modify, amend, or terminate the benefits provided with respect to any individual receiving benefits, including active employees, retirees, and their spouses, partners, and dependents. Although the University has elected to provide these benefits this year, no individual has a vested right to any of the benefits provided. Nothing in these materials gives any individual the right to continued benefits beyond the time the University modifies, amends, or terminates the benefit. Anyone seeking or accepting any of the benefits provided will be deemed to have accepted the terms of the benefits programs and the University's right to modify, amend or terminate them.
